Meet Chinenyike Lawrence Ezemagu, the South East Zonal Winner of the Young Adult Literature Prize 2025, with his entry: DIGITEEN
Ikemefuna Ezemagu is a writer and historian from Aku in Igbo Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State. Born with his twin brother on February 14, 1992, he studied History at the University of Ibadan and Philosophy at Dominican University, Ibadan, with additional studies in French and Cybersecurity. A two-time Guest Author at the Ibadan Book Club and an active member of ANA Oyo, he has written both academic and creative works. His latest book, Wives of King Solomon, reimagines Nigeria’s colonial experience. His other stories include My Marine Mother, When the River is Wiser, and Tomorrow Will Not Forget.
He is now in line for an additional N1,000,000.00 if he emerges the Grand Prize Winner on November 1.
